Don’t Let Go was written by myself and Francis Greene during the summer of 2018, and it’s the last song to be recorded for my upcoming ‘Found My Way‘ album.
Last night I had the second recording session for songs for the new album. The working title of the new album is ‘2017 Album’ – showing great imagination there. (Update June 2018: The new album is called ‘Found My Way’.)
Trying to spend some time making the new album has been a challenge recently. Work on the day job has gone through the roof and I feel like I’m a bit behind on my (admittedly non-existent) schedule.
I recently ordered some more copies of the Life Line CD as I had no more copies of the last run left – and they have now arrived. This time the CD is contained within a card envelope rather than the plastic boxes of the original release.
When the Life Line album was first finished and released back in 2009, I wasn’t performing on a regular basis. Apart from the actual recording process, I was even playing the guitar very much at all.
So the initial run of copies of the Life Line CD was very small – in fact I replicated them all myself on my laptop. My laptop then had a laser etching application and so I got hold of some two-sided discs and made them all – so completing the do-it-yourself nature of the project.
